What Is Your Proudest Achievement?

Database Design

I am not only a literary lion, I am also tech-curious and computer savvy. I earned CompTIA A+ certification and built several computers from the ground up. An avid chess player, I built a Microsoft Access RDMBS database with VBA to archive my games, creating powerful search and reporting features to conduct research and analysis to improve my game. Database normalization, UX design and a working knowledge of VBA are all skills I learned from this project. I learn new software systems easily and with the same zeal. Below are some screen shots to give you an idea of the software, I’m glad to share it with you if interested in reviewing (must have Access 2007 or better to run the Chess Archive).

I am a comfortable and poised public speaker, performing at poetry readings and particpating in interviews, and I can support Sales teams with product demonstrations to prosepctive clients. I also conduct training for clients and new co-workers and I am always glad to collaborate or pitch in on projects.
